I don't wish to start any "us vs. them" stuff between this new board and the THCS board, but I thought this was interesting: I replied to one of "GregP" video postings by saying that if he had any head shaving videos to post in the future, I'm sure they'd be appreciated on this board. That's virtually word-for-word what I wrote...no slams against the Buzzboard or its bizarre webmaster, the "bald ban", nothing. The post was short, sweet, directed exclusively to GregP, and 100% respectful. It was also singled out for deletion by Webby.
I thought that was a really petty, mean-spirited, and unnecessary act, if for no other reason than that a lot of people who visit THCS also like shaved heads and might like to see GregP's videos posted elsewhere. THCS's Webmaster isn't satisfied with simply banning head shaving content on his site, but now feels he must censor people's ability to extend an invitiation for this material to be posted elsewhere, and thus limit people's access. There's something about this that strikes me as really vindictive, especially considering that THCS has been the center of the online haircutting and shaving community for over a decade.
Glad we've got another option now...so thanks to Kris for starting this site.

a board's only asset in the end is the intellectual capital and exchange of ideas contibuted bv its members, and if that starts to get wrongfully censored, what do you have? but on the otherhand, that works ok in the peoples republic, at least that's what my friend vladimir told me.

Doesn't sound like there was any reason for that deletion. I'm disappointed to hear that the webmaster on the other board has become so biaised.
